This is spot on. As someone who offers coaching as part of my "mentoring program" I believe many coaches do themselves and their clients a disservice If they don't point out that finding a coach is just the first step .... the client needs to build a "Team"

Included are things like opportunity bringers, financiers, specialist mentors and trainers ... a great football team isn't just the players and the coach... It's strange that SME's etc try to reduce their team (often to a single person) and then wonder why they don't have more success.

Great little blog you've written that remind us of the importance of the "team" even if we work for ourselves.

Throw in accountability and you have all the tools you need to succeed. There are too many individuals with greatness potential who, because they have no accountability to anyone else but themselves for their actions, get caught up in a lie, an inappropriate situation, greed or some other sin and they go down hard.
